George Sundborg papers, 1945.

The George Sundborg Papers consist of the manuscript and a pre-publication copy of Sundborg's book "Opportunity in Alaska." A letter from Sundborg provides some background on the book: it was published by the Macmillan Company in 1945 and sold 10,000 copies, despite the fact that it was out of stock for nearly a year between the first and second printings due to a wartime paper shortage.
